Porta Communications plc. acts as a holding company with the mandate to build an international communications and marketing business where there is clear synergy between the services offered, with the objective of maximising Shareholder value.
Within Porta there are individual divisions which provide the following services; Public relations including financial, corporate, consumer and public affairs, Advertising and related services (including digital, media buying and media bartering).
This has and will be undertaken through:
- The recruitment of a team of proven key public relations executives from within the industry (who are committed to the Board's and the CEO's vision). This strategy was implemented fairly quickly and will be an on-going feature of the PR division. In addition the Board are committed to an active acquisition programme to bolster further the PR Division and a number of opportunities are currently being explored.
- The acquisition of advertising and media companies where again a number of discussions are taking place.
- An acquisition programme focussed on companies where there is clear synergy and a shared energy to build a fast growing international group.
- A start-up Media bartering division trading as Newgate Trading.
